Social Monkee Review - It is bananas?

Social Monkee Review – It is bananas?

I put together this brief Social Monkee review because I noticed some people talking about it last week on an online forum I follow.

People just starting out as bloggers trying to make money online tend to think there are easy ways to get up and running and making money online.  There aren’t any.  You need to put the work in.  Trying to find shortcuts is just going to get you black listed by Google, and when that happens you will have even more work ahead of you to fix things.

So first things first… I am not at all associated with Social Monkee.  I have nothing to do with them.  The information below is my personal view after doing some research on them.  If you are thinking about using Social Monkee then I encourage you to check out other online reviews beside my own, and make your decision only after having done that.

Social Monkee Review – Black Hat SEO?

If you don’t know what black hate SEO is let me explain:  black hat SEO refers to the use of aggressive SEO strategies, techniques and tactics that focus only on search engines and not a human audience, and usually does not obey search engines guidelines set forth by Google, Yahoo, and Bing… the big three search engine companies.

Social Monkee basically provides automated backlinking services that will build twenty-five backlinks to your website everyday.

Backlinks are a good thing for a website, usually.  Backlinks are only good if they are relevant and coming from a quality website.  Backlinks that come from non-relevant websites or sites that have low trust or are known black hat SEO sites will hurt your page – especially if Google suspects you are paying for them.

Social Monkee Provides Horrible Backlinks – Avoid Them

There are bookmarking websites out there that are easy to create.  You see a lot of this of Fiverr if you look for help on SEO.  Lots of people, usually from countries where SEO scams and other online scams are more likely to originate from, provide black hat SEO services.

Social bookmarking websites will backlink to anybody.  Because of this, their websites hold very little water with Google, and their backlinks don’t mean jack.

This means that even though you may have dozens or hundreds or even thousands of back-links from such bookmarking websites they will do you absolutely no good.  In fact, if it is suspected you have been paying for such links and doing other black hat SEO, Google will penalize your site!

When you pay Social Monkee and give them your URL they start generating those bad backlinks to your site.  So you are essentially wasting your money, no matter how cheap they are.

Avoid Paying For Backlinks – Get Them Naturally!

The best way to get good quality backlinks to your website is to write good content.  Good content will get shared.  It will cause other websites to want to backlink to you on their own.  When that happens that is called White Hat Seo.  It’s a good thing.  When things happen naturally to your website that is when Google takes notice and will give you a little boost in the search rankings.

Is Social Monkee a scam?  You pay them money, they provide a backlinking service.  They say the backlinking will help your page get ranked.  That is a lie.  It will not.  So yes, in my eyes Social Monkee is a scam.  They are providing a service, but the results they promote do not exist.

Write good content.  Get links back to your website the best way… the natural way.
